“An uplifting of thought/thinking to Spirit.”
I am finding so much in the chapter "Creation". Here's what I have so far:
- "Creation": It is never-ending; without lapse;
infinite good unfolding itself – just pouring out;
an awakening for us; a recognition;
A whole new way of thinking demanded, revealed, and given;
An uplifting of thought/thinking to Spirit. - The chapter is leading and demanding the way to a better understanding of the infiniteness of God, and to limitless Mind and its limitless idea. It is giving the truth that denies all that would claim to limit God or man.
- The statement on S&H 255:11, "Mortal man has made a covenant with his eyes to belittle Deity with human conceptions", caught my eye. If we accept as valid our human conceptions of someone else, aren't we actually belittling God also? This was a help when I realized how often I was allowing criticism to occupy my thought and color my dealings with others. It has enabled me to recognize and reject the temptation to judge and label others. I am still learning to be more alert, but I am so grateful for the progress made.
