“A new appreciation of the storehouse of testimonies we have.”
I really appreciate the Association assignment this year. It has awakened and stirred me to a new appreciation of the storehouse of testimonies we have. I remember several years ago thinking that the collection of testimonies in Mrs. Eddy’s writings and in the Sentinel and Journal are unique in volume and scope of healing. And, importantly, they are ongoing.
I have never read testimonies as a literature in their own rite. It’s both reassuring and challenging to read so many instances of dramatic healing. I find myself taking moments to pause and agree deeply with the writers as they recall their hard-earned inspiration.
