In a letter to Judge Hanna, our Leader advised, “Go into your secret ‘upper chamber’ (observatory), shut out observation and the world since the kingdom of good cometh not thereby – and pray.” (Mary Baker Eddy: Christian Healer – Amplified Edition, p. 399). The Association study room seems somewhat similar – on the 5th floor of an office building on Copley Square. It’s a sanctuary above the day-to-day rush and noise of the city, and my own hurried concepts of Science that need weekly refreshment. I’ve felt Mind’s guidance in career and personal decisions here, besides a general uplift and calming in thought. It truly is a gift from and for the entire Association that blesses us all.
