I reversed this with knowing that his experience of church was complete, that nothing could hinder him from learning about God. Regardless of class size. And did the class ever grow!

In other news, my husband had a complete healing of a skin condition that had bothered him for about six years. He was inspired by testimonies he heard during Wednesday meetings, and then he gave his first testimony at my branch church about it!
Within the last couple of years, he has acquired a home and a car and testified a year or so ago that our church was the only church where he ever felt welcome. Last Wednesday night, he brought to church a couple with their little son to introduce them to Christian Science, and it was a wonderful meeting.
Read MoreWith that, someone suggested that we read the Church Manual together for our first “monthly” meeting, and it became then a call to action. Before the meeting adjourned there was a good 15-20 minutes of members speaking in practitioner-like terms.
