“The grandmother of a family…faithfully brings her four grandchildren, and often, their friends and neighbors, to Sunday School”

I wrote earlier about the appearance of a woman at our church's Wednesday testimony meeting one night, wanting to know more about Christian Science.  Her joy of discovery (then her going through class instruction and becoming a church member) uplifted and inspired all the members of our tiny church.  Although we have had no children in our Sunday School for many years, except for visitors, more good news is that we now do!  The grandmother of a family with many complications and difficulties faithfully brings her four grandchildren, and often, their friends and neighbors, to Sunday School.  Although our membership is small currently, we are grateful to have a talented, devoted, loving teacher for the Sunday School.  We all have developed a warm relationship with the children who have learned so much about Christian Science and seem to be so happy to be with us.

New good appeared just a few days ago, involving a man who has dropped in to our church over many years.  He would usually leave abruptly in the middle of a service or meeting.  He was without a home, car, or job for periods of time, and moved out of state, but now back.  Within the last couple of years, he has acquired a home and a car and testified a year or so ago that our church was the only church where he ever felt welcome.  Last Wednesday night, he brought to church a couple with their little son to introduce them to Christian Science, and it was a wonderful meeting.  We are so grateful for all the difficulties he has been able to overcome and the healings he has received.
