March 21, 2024

Dear Association Family,

We are looking forward to being together on Saturday, April 20th. This is a very important time of year for all of us. From the 2014 references letter Skip reminds us, “A year can sometimes seem pretty long when it’s the measure between those times when we get to come home together to the spiritual purpose and core experience that’s the most important thing in our lives.” He continues, “I’m more convinced than ever of what a powerful contribution Christian Science associations of students are making to the Cause of Christian Science. They’re not something off to the side, a day of inspiration, time out, a nice extra. They’re an integral part of the way we live Christian Science—being involved in it, sharing it, highlighting it. And that makes a substantial difference to the spiritual energy of this “greatest and holiest of all Causes.” These gatherings of all the associations of class-taught Christian Scientists are second to nothing else in terms of the infusion of light and healing they afford the movement. They draw directly from the great spiritual discovery and revelation as nothing else does. And they have the potential of becoming ever more conscious now of their great capacity to help renew.”

Please send your response to the assignment and fruitage in a timely manner so our guest speaker can incorporate them into her address. As you know, your testimonies of healing and/or fruitage as well as responses to the assignment to the Executive Committee, is most important to the vitality, life, and growth of our association*.

Please send to exec@phinneyassociation.org. If you don’t use email, please send them to Pamela Phinney, 7 Saddle Way, Kennebunkport, ME. 04046.
