Location
HILTON BOSTON DEDHAM HOTEL, 25 Allied Drive, Dedham, MA 02026
- If you are parking in the lot to the left, enter the hotel through the front entrance. The Grand Ballroom is to your right up a few stairs. Wheelchair access is to the left of the stairs.
- If you are parking in the garage to the right, enter the hotel through the garage access. Ushers will be there to guide you to the Grand Ballroom.

Providence/Stoughton line
8:15-9:30 a.m.
REGISTRATION (OPENS 8:15)
- Enter Registration on the LEFT and pick up ENVELOPE, badge, Express Lunch Form (If you are getting the Express Lunch, complete the form before entering the Grand Ballroom.) See table on RIGHT for CHANGE of ADDRESS cards, practitioner/nurse applications, recent AWP editorials, and Express Lunch Form drop off.
- BADGES must be worn at all times!
9:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
MORNING SESSION, GRAND BALLROOM (START-TIME 9:30)
- Short BUSINESS MEETING at 9:30 a.m. – GUESTS welcome!
- One BREAK during morning session. Grand Ballroom remains a QUIET SPACE during breaks for those wishing to study and pray. Talking and greeting can be done outside and away from doorways.
- RESTROOMS are to the right after you exit the Grand Ballroom area.
- COLLECTION taken at end of morning session as you exit for lunch (checks payable to A.W. Phinney Association).
12-1:30 p.m.
LUNCH (90 MINUTES)
- EXPRESS LUNCH (sandwiches, salads, drinks, etc.) Go to the hotel’s restaurant to pay and be served your lunch. TO GO orders can be picked up and paid for at the restaurant also.
- There are several restaurants nearby at the University Ave exit on Route 95/128S and Legacy Place, Route 95/128N to Route 1A, but you will need a car to get to either place.
1:30-5 p.m.
AFTERNOON SESSION, including floor discussion and sharing of fruitage by members and guests.
- Two BREAKS during afternoon session.
- Drop off BADGE as you exit the Grand Ballroom at end of day.
Additional information
Reading the address
We have reserved the New England Room located on the first floor of the Hilton Boston Dedham Hotel for those who wish to read the Association address. The room will be posted as “A.W.P. Address”. On Friday, April 27, 2018, all members (and guests who attended the 2017 Association meeting) can read the 2017 Association Address from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. On Sunday, April 29, 2018, all members and guests can read the 2018 Association Address from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. Additional times and places for Sunday will be announced on Association Day.
Appointments with Skip
Appointments with Skip for members outside of New England:
- SUNDAY, 4/29 at Association office, 581 Boylston St., Suite #502, Boston
- (New ACCESS CODE to building: press #5-0-2)
- Appointments 20 MINUTES – contact Janet to reserve a time.
Dues
MEMBERS: Please pay dues BEFORE April 28 if possible. Thank you!
Bring layers
It may be helpful to have an EXTRA LAYER such as shawl or jacket, as temperatures may vary inside the Grand Ballroom.
Child care
Child care for children up to 7 years is still available, but please notify us IMMEDIATELY. Contact Susan Forrest at 781-899-0831.
Requests
To request a listening device, a wheel chair, or another need, please contact Janet directly.
Parking
Parking is complimentary, and there are two garages on site. One is on the right as you enter the hotel area. If you park at this garage, you can access the hotel directly from the garage. The second parking area is on the left. There is a lower level, street level and upper level. If you park here, you’ll have to cross the road and enter the hotel via their front entrance.
Fruitage
Skip considers your FRUITAGE and ASSIGNMENT responses as a major part of Association! They may be sent to awphinney@comcast.net or for those without email, send to the Association office anytime up to and including Association day.
