Beacons of light in benighted surroundings

I first became aware of Skip’s editorials in the late 80s. Ever since, they have stood out to me as beacons of light in benighted surroundings. I could find absolute Truth in them and they spoke to me as nothing else ever has, except the Bible and Mrs. Eddy’s writings. The clarity, demonstrated Christianity, and genuine spirituality in Skip’s writings helped wake me up to see what I had been missing in the inspired Word of the Bible and Mrs. Eddy’s writings. 

At the time, my human circumstances seemed rather bleak and dark. But through spiritual growth, my thought and outlook have changed, and accordingly, my experience has changed drastically. Gaining a better understanding of the basic truth about God and man is the reason for this. Every step of the way, Skip’s writings have been enormously helpful because of their genuineness and directness.
